A Story Waiting to Be Solved

Vienna, 1812.
A letter is discovered.

“My angel… my all… my very self…”

But the name is missing.

As Ludwig van Beethoven begins to lose his hearing, one question begins to haunt his life—and ours:

Who was the Immortal Beloved?

Through music, memory, and dangerous encounters with love, three women emerge from the shadows… each with a claim, each with a secret.

And at the centre of it all: a man on the edge of silence, fighting to hold on to the one thing he cannot bear to lose.

The extraordinary delight of engaging drama,

The power of a one-man performance

From the moment you arrive, the experience begins. You are welcomed not simply as an audience member, but as a guest — drawn into a relaxed, intimate atmosphere before the story unfolds. This sense of occasion creates an engaging and slightly mischievous theatrical world, setting the tone for what is to come.

There is something uniquely compelling about a one-man show. With no distance between performer and audience, the experience becomes immediate, immersive, and deeply personal. Characters emerge and transform before your eyes; the story unfolds with a directness that draws you in and holds you there.

In an intimate space like the Hexagon Theatre, this connection is even more powerful. You are not simply watching from afar — you are part of the atmosphere, sharing every moment as it happens. The shifts in character, tone, and tension create a sense of theatrical magic that is both fascinating and exhilarating.

Having created and performed several one-man productions, each met with enthusiastic audiences, this latest work continues that tradition — offering a performance that is engaging, thought-provoking, and, above all, genuinely gripping.

Each performance is also a singular event — shaped by the energy of the audience in the room. No two evenings are ever quite the same, making this not just a show to watch, but an experience to be part of.

The Immortal Beloved

In July 1812, a letter was written. Passionate. Urgent. Unguarded.

“My angel… my all… my very self…”

But no name was ever given

"My angel, my all,

my self..."

After his death, the letter was discovered among the papers of Ludwig van Beethoven—and with it, a mystery that has endured for over two centuries

"My only..."

Who was the woman he loved so deeply?

Historians and musicans alike have puzzled over the mystery.

Will you discover the truth, the beauty and the pain, that drove the passions of the greatest or the greatest?

But who?

Was it Josephine de Brunsvik—bound by duty, yet drawn irresistibly toward him?
Giulietta Guicciardi.—young, captivating, and immortalised in music?
Or Therese Malfatti—charming, elusive, and never quite within his grasp?

A love without end...

Each stood close to him.
Each left a trace.

But only one could have inspired a love so absolute… and so dangerous.
